Sensex down 12pts; Dr.Reddy's rallies 3%

The Sensex is now marginally down 12 points at 9859.

Dr.Reddy's has rallied 3% to Rs 1,105.

Tata Power has moved up 2.6% to Rs 470.

Grasim has surged 2.2% to Rs 1,468. HDFC is up 1.9% at Rs 1,321.

Reliance has gained 1.5% at Rs 709.

Ranbaxy and Bharti Tele have gained nearly 1% each at Rs 396 and Rs 358, respectively.

Tata Steel is down over 3% at Rs 383.

SBI has slipped 2.8% to Rs 888.

Bajaj Auto, Larsen & Toubro, Hero Honda, Infosys, ITC and HLL have dropped 1% each to Rs 2,176, Rs 2,115, Rs 865, Rs 2,873, Rs 154 and Rs 193, respectively.

Out of 2,386 stocks traded so far, 1,628 have declined, 707 have moved up and 51 are unmoved.

Amar Remedies, Atul and Bombay Rayon have soared over 10% each. Gillette has surged 6.5% to Rs 558. Aurobindo Pharma, Dabur, India Cement, SCI, Lupin, Gail and Maharashtra Seamless are up 2-4% each.

Kajaria Ceramics and Excel Industries have plunged over 9% each. Praj Industries, FDC, Dena Bank, SAIL, Jindal Stainless, Chennai Petro, HCL Infosys, JSW Steel, Suzlon, Jindal Steel and Bharat Electricals have posted significant losses.
