Sensex down 12pts; Maruti, Grasim weak

The Sensex is now down 12 points at 14,390.

Maruti has slipped 2% to Rs 896, and Grasim has shed 1.8% to Rs 2,602.

ONGC, HDFC and Reliance Communications have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 891, Rs 1,669 and Rs 457, respectively.

Tata Motors, Gujarat Ambuja and Wipro are down over 1% each to Rs 857, Rs 131 and Rs 672, respectively.

Ranbaxy has surged 2% to Rs 399. Reliance has moved up 1.6% to Rs 1,440.

Out of 2,541 stocks traded, 1,622 have declined, 847 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
