Sensex down 130pts; SBI slumps 4%

The Sensex is now down 130 poins at 13,484.

ONGC has rallied 3.5% to Rs 845. Ranbaxy has surged 2.5% to Rs 385.

SBI has plunged nearly 4% (Rs 49) to Rs 1,216. ACC has dropped 3.3% to Rs 1,024.

Hindalco, Bharti Airtel and HLL have shed around 2.5% each to Rs 174, Rs 601 and Rs 225, respectively.

Tata Motors has slipped 2.3% to Rs 838. Maruti, Gujarat Ambuja and Infosys have declined around 2% each to Rs 886, Rs 137 and Rs 2,188, respectively.

Cipla and HDFC are down nearly 2% each to Rs 241 and Rs 1,521, respectively.

HDFC Bank, NTPC and Dr.Reddy's are down around 1.5% each.

Out of 2,198 stocks traded so far, 1,347 have declined, 773 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
