Sensex down 132pts; Satyam spurts 3%

The Sensex dropped to a low of 10,198, and is now down 132 points at 10,221.

Hindalco has slipped over 4% to Rs 157. Reliance Communications, Bajaj Auto and Tata Steel have dropped over 2.5% each to Rs 242, Rs 2,435 and Rs 475, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja, NTPC, Wipro, TCS, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance are down over 2% each to Rs 101, Rs 111, Rs 460, Rs 1,769, Rs 2,090 and Rs 976, respectively.

Satyam has surged 2.6% to Rs 706. BHEL has gained 2% at Rs 1,848.
