Sensex down 133pts; breadth turns -ve

The Sensex is now down 133 points at 12,916.

BHEL has shed 4.6% to Rs 2,075. Tata Motors has dropped 2.5% to Rs 751.

Cipla, Dr.Reddy's, ACC and Gujarat Ambuja have slipped 2.3% each to Rs 231, Rs 661, Rs 814 and Rs 110, respectively.

Satyam and Grasim have declined 2% each to Rs 437 and Rs 2,191, respectively.

Ranbaxy and Reliance Communications are down 1.7% each to Rs 323 and Rs 427, respectively.

NTPC has surged 2% to Rs 139, and Tata Steel has added 1.5% to Rs 434.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,277 stocks traded so far, 1,155 have declined, 1,060 have declined and 62 are unchanged.
