Sensex down 133pts; Tata Steel tumbles 10%

The Sensex is now down 133 points at 14,179.

Gujarat Ambuja has gained 1.8% at Rs 137. Satyam and Ranbaxy have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 471 and Rs 409, respectively.

Reliance Energy has moved up 1.3% to Rs 513, and ITC is up 1% at Rs 174.

Tata Steel has tumbled 9.7% (Rs 50) to Rs 469. Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro have dropped 2.7% to Rs 176 and Rs 1,572, respectively.

ICICI Bank and HLL have shed 2.3% each to Rs 933 and Rs 209, respectively.

Wipro and ACC are down 2% each to Rs 618 and Rs 1,023, respectively.

Out of 2,649 stocks traded so far, 1,685 have declined, 928 have advanced and 36 are unchanged.
