Sensex down 135pts; Infosys, Reliance weak

The Sensex is now down 135 points at 15,951.

The NSE Nifty is down 18 points at 4,811.

Tata Motors has slipped 3% to Rs 659. Infosys has plunged 2.5% to Rs 1,457.

HDFC Bank and Reliance have dropped 2.3% each to Rs 1,408 and Rs 2,246, respectively.

Satyam has shed 2% at Rs 405. Larsen & Toubro and HDFC have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 2,991 and Rs 2,615, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates has slipped 1.5% to Rs 223, and Reliance Energy is down over 1% at Rs 1,282.

Hindalco has moved up 2.6% to Rs 166. DLF, Hindustan Unilever and Ambuja Cements have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 667, Rs 238 and Rs 124, respectively.

ONGC, ITC and Bharti Airtel have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 1,077, Rs 197 and Rs 813, respectively.

Cipla is up over 1% at Rs 208.
