Sensex down 136pts; Hero Honda up 2%

The Sensex is now down 136 points at 11,783.

Hindalco has plunged 3.5% to Rs 177. HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, Reliance Energy and HLL have slipped nearly 3% each to Rs 826, Rs 510, Rs 475 and Rs 234, respectively.

Maruti, Tata Motors, BHEL and Reliance have declined around 2% each to Rs 919, Rs 878, Rs 2,279 and Rs 1,108, respectively.

Hero Honda has advanced 2% to Rs 750.

Out of 2,330 stocks traded so far, 1,445 have declined, 826 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
