Sensex down 137pts; Reliance Comm drops 3%

The Sensex opened with a negative gap of 83 points at 10,068. Heavy selling in opening trades saw the index tumble to a low of 9910. The index has now recovered some of its early losses and is down 137 points at 10,014.

Reliance Communications has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 222. Tata Steel has shed 2.7% to Rs 505. HDFC is down 2.5% at Rs 1,063.

HLL and Wipro are down nearly 2% each at Rs 216 and Rs 466, respectively.

Hero Honda has rebounded in positive zone.
