Sensex down 138pts; Reliance sheds 2%

The Sensex is now down 138 points at 14,159.

Hindalco is trading at Rs 125, down around 10%, on the back of ex-rights adjustment.

DLF has plunged 3% to Rs 464, and Reliance Infrastructure has shed 2.8% at Rs 939.

Larsen & Toubro and Reliance have dropped 2.4% each to Rs 2,515 and Rs 2,097, respectively.

Reliance Communications and ICICI Bank have slipped around 2% each to Rs 389 and Rs 636, respectively.

BHEL, Wipro and HDFC Bank have declined 1.7% each to Rs 1,653, Rs 418 and Rs 1,213, respectively.

HDFC and Mahindra & Mahindra are down 1% each at Rs 2,270 and Rs 569, respectively.

 

Bharti Airtel has moved up 1.4% to Rs 815. Ranbaxy and Maruti are up 1% each at Rs 518 and Rs 632, respectively.

Out of 2,578 stocks traded so far, 1,650 have declined, 840 have advanced and 88 are unchanged.
