The Sensex has slipped 140 points 13,378.
Infosys has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,618. ONGC has surged 1.8% to Rs 970, and Tata Motors has rallied 1.7% to Rs 405.
Satyam has advanced over 1% to Rs 361.
Ranbaxy has slumped 7.7% to Rs 375. ITC and ICICI Bank have plunged 4.5% each to Rs 186 and Rs 566, respectively.
Sterlite has shed 3.5% at Rs 461. Reliance has slipped 2.8% to Rs 1,875.
SBI and Tata Steel have dropped 2.5% each to Rs 1,546 and Rs 477, respectively.
NTPC, BHEL and Grasim have slipped around 2% each to Rs 167, Rs 1,613 and R s1,890, respectively.
