Sensex down 141pts

The Sensex has dropped 141 points (1.7%) to 8,346.

ONGC is now down 3% (Rs 29) at Rs 1,010. Reliance has declined Rs 19 to Rs 764. HLL is still down over 3% (Rs 6) at Rs 165. ITC is marginally higher at Rs 141.

Gujarat Ambuja has plunged 5% (Rs4) to Rs 67.  ACC and Grasim are also deep in the red.

BHEL is down 2% (Rs 22) to Rs 1,113.

Maruti  is up Rs 4 at Rs 559.

Pidilite has zoomed 14% (Rs 11) to Rs 95.

The BSE SmallCap Index has plunged over 5% (324 points) to 5,715.
