Sensex down 141pts; Bharti, ONGC up 2%

Recovery continues... and the Sensex is now down 141 points at 15,834.

The NSE Nifty is down 11 points at 4,760.

Larsen & Toubro has slumped 9.7% to Rs 2,698. Reliance Energy and BHEL have tumbled around 6% ecah to Rs 1,193 and Rs 1,909, respectively.

Maruti has slipped over 4% to Rs 893, and Satyam has dropped over 3% to Rs 410.

HDFC has shed 2.5% at Rs 2,565. Grasim and Reliance are the other major losers.

ONGC, Cipla and Bharti Airtel have rallied 2% each to Rs 975, Rs 204 and Rs 766, respectively.

SBI, Mahindra & Mahindra and ACC have gained 1.5% each at Rs 1,872, Rs 676 and Rs 745, respectively.

Out of 2,551 stocks traded so far, 2,197 have declined, 325 have advanced and 29 are unchanged.
