Sensex down 141pts; market breadth positive

The Sensex is now down 141 points at 9857.

HLL has shed 3.7% to Rs 214. HDFC and HDFC Bank are down 3.4% each at Rs 1,017 and Rs 711, respectively.

Satyam, Bajaj Auto, BHEL and Tata Steel have declined 3% each to Rs 650, Rs 2,642, Rs 1,873 and Rs 464, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has rallied over 3% to Rs 1,314, and Ranbaxy has surged 2.5% to Rs 379.

Out of 1,884 stocks traded so far, 1,066 have advanced, 766 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
