Sensex down 145pts; HDFC, BHEL weak

The Sensex is now down 145 points to 13,527.

HDFC has shed 2.4% to Rs 1,556. Bajaj Auto and BHEL have dropped 2% each to Rs 2,447 and Rs 2,507, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Satyam, Tata Motors and Infosys have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 1,631, Rs 454, Rs 710 and Rs 2,045, respectively.

HLL and Tata Steel have declined 1.3% each to Rs 205 and Rs 504, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, Wipro, ACC, ONGC, NTPC, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications and Maruti are down around 1% each.

SBI has advanced over 1% to Rs 1,047. Gujarat Ambuja has gained 1% at Rs 114.

The market is negative - out of 2,323 stocks traded so far, 1,329 have declined, 919 have advanced and 75 are unchanged.
