Sensex down 14pts; Guj Amb, Tata Steel drop

The Sensex is now down 14 points at 14,286.

HDFC Bank has rallied 2% to Rs 1,056. Ranbaxy has gained 1.3% at Rs 400.

ITC and TCS are up 1% each at Rs 167 and Rs 1,261, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has plunged nearly 9% to Rs 2,280. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 2.5% to Rs 120.

Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have shed 2% each to Rs 585 and Rs 490, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped 1.5% to Rs 147. SBI, Dr.Reddy's and Bharti Airtel are down 1% each at Rs 1,311, Rs 670 and Rs 841, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,451 stocks traded so far, 1,357 have declined, 1,020 have advanced and 74 are unchanged.
