Sensex down 14pts; Maruti slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 14 points at 14,388.

Maruti has slipped 1.8% to Rs 898. ONGC, Grasim, Reliance Communications and Tata Motors have shed around 1.5% each to Rs 890, Rs 2,608, Rs 456 and Rs 856, respectively.

HLL and HDFC are down 1% each at Rs 203 and Rs 1,677, respectively.

Ranbaxy has advanced 2.3% to Rs 401. Reliance has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,437.

Hindalco and Hero Honda are up 1% each at Rs 150 and Rs 724, respectively.

Out of 2,472 stocks traded, 1,560 have declined, 849 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
