Sensex down 15 pts, HDFC up 3%

Though the market is still witnessing weak trends, selective buying has trimmed the gains of the index in mid-noon trades.

The Sensex, as a result, is now down 15 pts at 6,442, while the Nifty is weak at 1,985 - down eight points.

Infosys is down 1.13% (Rs 23) at Rs 2,038. While Satyam has shed 1.89% (Rs 8) to Rs 423, Wipro is still trading with a per cent loss (Rs 5) at Rs 637.

ONGC (down Rs 8 to Rs 877) and Reliance (down Rs 3 to Rs 535) are still trading in a narrow range. While ITC has rolled back into the green with a per cent gain (Rs 9) at Rs 1,475, HLL is up a rupee at Rs 131.

SBI (down Rs 3 to Rs 616) and ICICI Bank (down Rs 2 to Rs 390) are still trading at weak levels. HDFC Bank, however, is up a per cent (Rs 3) at Rs 533.

Hero Honda and Maruti are down a per cent each at Rs 549 (down Rs 4) and Rs 435 (down Rs 3), respectively.

Cipla has gained 1.43% (Rs 4) to Rs 281, and Dr. Reddy's is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 663.

HDFC has advanced 3.18% (Rs 24) to Rs 774, while Zee is up 2.47% (Rs 4) at Rs 150.
