Sensex down 150pts; Bharti up 2%

The Sensex is now down 150 points at 14,059.

ACC has plunged 5% to Rs 1,060. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 3.3% to Rs 142, and Grasim has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 2,811.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped over 4% to Rs 776. SBI has shed 3.6% to Rs 1,180.

HLL and HDFC Bank have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 220 and Rs 1,035, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Tata Motors and Maruti are the other major losers.

Bharti Airtel has rallied 2.4% to Rs 692.

Out of 2,609 stocks traded so far, 1,564 have declined, 987 have advanced and 58 are unchanged.
