Sensex down 158pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now down 158 points at 20,570.

Bharti Airtel has plunged nearly 5% to Rs 863. ICICI Bank has dropped 3% to Rs 1,366.

Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 1.7% at Rs 743. Ambuja Cements and Reliance Communications are down around 1% each at Rs 137 and Rs 798, respectively.

Maruti has advanced 1.5% to Rs 868, and HDFC Bank has added 1.3% to Rs 1,812.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,668 stocks traded so far, 1,471 have advanced, 1,149 have declined and 48 are unchanged.
