Sensex down 15pts; HDFC soars 4%

The Sensex is now down 15 points at 20,276.

HDFC has soared over 4% to Rs 3,067.

Reliance Communications have surged 3.3% to Rs 764, and Tata Steel has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 860.

NTPC has gained 1.3% at Rs 246. Cipla and ONGC are up 1% each at Rs 197 and Rs 1,250, respectively.

Infosys has plunged 4.3% to Rs 1,668. Satyam has shed 2.7% at Rs 430, and Wipro has dropped 2.2% to Rs 494.

ICICI Bank, BHEL and HDFC Bank are down over 1% each at Rs 1,300, Rs 2,640 and Rs 1,756, respectively.

Out of 2,890 stocks traded so far, 2,003 have advanced, 849 have declined and 38 are unchanged.
