Sensex down 160pts; market breadth neutral

The Sensex is now down 160 points at 10,663.

ONGC has dropped 4.7% to Rs 1,180. HDFC has slipped over 4% to Rs 1,190.

HDFC Bank and Tata Power have shed around 3.5% each at Rs 758 and Rs 532, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Wipro, Reliance, BHEL, Reliance Energy and Tata Steel have declined 2-3% each.

Cipla has surged 3.4% to Rs 235. ACC and NTPC have gained around 3% each at Rs 776 and Rs 121, respectively.

Satyam and ICICI Bank have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 698 and Rs 581, respectively. Dr.Reddy's has added 1% to Rs 1,435.

The market breadth is almost neutral - out of 2,473 stocks traded so far, 1,224 have advanced, 1,195 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
