Sensex down 165pts; HLL, SBI slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 165 points at 13,744.

ICICI Bank has slumped 7.5% to Rs 864. HDFC has tumbled 3% to Rs 1,637.

ONGC and Bharti Airtel have plunged around 2.5% each to Rs 905 and Rs 806, respectively.

HLL and SBI have shed 1.8% each to Rs 206 and Rs 1,079, respectively. Larsen & Toubro and Dr.Reddy's have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 1,657 and Rs 702, respectively.

Infosys has rallied over 2% to Rs 2,050. Satyam and TCS have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 474 and Rs 1,251, respectively.

Hero Honda has gained 1% at Rs 675.

Out of 2,232 stocks traded so far, 1,118 have advanced, 1,039 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
