Sensex down 168pts; Satyam, Bajaj Auto slip 4%

The Sensex is now down 168 points at 9830.

RCoVL has gained over 3% at Rs 236. Ranbaxy and Reliance Energy have moved up nearly 2% each to Rs 377 and Rs 451, respectively.

HDFC, Satyam and Bajaj Auto have dropped over 4% each to Rs 1,008, Rs 643 and Rs 2,615, respectively.

HLL has shed 3.7% to Rs 214. BHEL, HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel are down 3.5% each at Rs 1,862, Rs 711 and Rs 349, respectively.

Out of 2,204 stocks traded so far, 1,380 have advanced, 757 have declined and 67 are unchanged.
