Sensex down 16pts

The Sensex is down 16 points at 9624.

Reliance has slipped nearly 1% at Rs 912.

Dr.Reddy's has gained 3.2% at Rs 1,053. Ranbaxy is up 2.2% at Rs 378, and Cipla has added 1.3% to Rs 446.

Tata Power has rallied 3% to Rs 460. BHEL has moved up 1.2% to Rs 1,486. Bharti Tele is up 1.5% at Rs 351.

Satyam and Wipro have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 748 and Rs 466, respectively. Infosys at Rs 3,039 and TCS at Rs 1,697 have shed 0.5% each.

ICICI Bank and SBI have declined 1.4% each at Rs 590 and Rs 928, respectively. HDFC Bank is also trading in red at Rs 764.

Grasim at Rs 1,453 and Gujarat Ambuja at Rs 86.40 have shed 1% each.
Hindalco and Tata Steel are down 1% each at Rs 153 and Rs 380, respectively.

Maruti, too, has declined 1% at Rs 664.

Out of 2,546 stocks traded so far, 1,481 have moved up, 1,010 has slipped and the rest are unchanged.
