Sensex down 17pts; Dr.Reddy's soars 5.5%

The Sensex has slipped back in the negative zone and is now down 17 points at 10,725.

Dr.Reddy's has soared 5.5% to Rs 1,443. BHEL and Hindalco have surged 2.5% each to Rs 2,002 and Rs 170, respectively. Tata Steel has moved up over 2% to Rs 506.

SBI, Cipla, Ranbaxy, Reliance Communications, Maruti and HLL have advanced over 1% each to Rs 773, Rs 234, Rs 370, Rs 259, Rs 788 and Rs 248, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has dropped 1.3% to Rs 391. HDFC and ICICI Bank have declined 1% each to Rs 1,178 and Rs 539, respectively.
