Sensex down 17pts; Hindalco weak

The Sensex is now down 17 points at 11,460.

Hindalco has dropped 2.5% to Rs 161.

Tata Steel and HDFC Bank have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 510 and Rs 835, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel are down over 1% each.

Maruti, Cipla and HLL have gained over 1.5% each at Rs 833, Rs 248 and Rs 238, respectively.

Tata Motors, TCS and ACC are up 1% each.

Out of 2,468 stocks traded so far, 1,256 have declined, 1,137 have advanced and 75 are unchanged.
