Sensex down 183pts; all index stocks in red

The Sensex touched a low of 9591 - down 268 points from the day's high of 9859. The index is now down 183 points at 9627.

There is not a single gainer among the index stocks.

Reliance Energy has dropped 4.3% to Rs 415. BHEL, Tata Steel, HDFC and Grasim are down around 3.5% each at Rs 1,805, Rs 440, Rs 1,165 and Rs 1,715, respectively.

Reliance Communication Ventures has slipped over 3% to Rs 214.

ITC, Tata Motors, NTPC and Satyam are the other prominent losers.
