Sensex down 18pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now down 18 points at 14,384.

ONGC, Maruti and Grasim have shed around 2% each to Rs 888, Rs 897 and Rs 2,603, respectively.

Reliance Communications, HLL and Tata Motors have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 456, Rs 202 and Rs 857, respectively.

Ranbaxy has advanced 1.3% to Rs 397. Hindalco has spurted 1% to Rs 150.

Out of 2,429 stocks traded, 1,547 have declined, 821 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
