Sensex down 18pts; ITC, Satyam weak

The Sensex is now down 18 points at 11,127.

HDFC has advanced 2% to Rs 1,264. Cipla has surged 1.8% to Rs 236, and Hindalco has moved up 1.5% to Rs 167.

Grasim and ACC are up 1% each at Rs 2,168 and Rs 876, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and ONGC have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 2,640 and Rs 1,186, respectively.

Tata Motors, ITC and Satyam are down 1% each to Rs 785, Rs 177 and Rs 758, respectively.

Out of 2,326 stocks traded so far, 1,377 have advanced, 866 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
