Sensex down 18pts; tech stocks slip

The Sensex is now down 18 points 14,449.

ONGC has surged 1.7% to Rs 924. Bharti Airtel has gained 1% at Rs 831.

TCS has shed 1.6% to Rs 1,122. Infosys and Wipro have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,928 and Rs 512, respectively.

Maruti, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Hindustan Unilever are the other major losers.

Out of 2,501 stocks traded so far, 1,436 have advanced, 972 have declined and 93 are unchanged.
