Sensex down 191pts; Dr.Reddy's rebounds

The Sensex touched a low of 9745, and is now down 191 points at 9807.

HDFC has dropped 4.5% to Rs 1,005. Tata Steel has slipped 4.2% to Rs 457.

Hero Honda, HLL and HDFC Bank has plunged 4% each to Rs 712, Rs 213 and Rs 708, respectively.

Grasim and Bajaj Auto have shed 3.5% each to Rs 1,752 and Rs 2,630, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has rebounded into positive zone and has gained 2.4% at Rs 1,305.

The market breadth is slightly negative - out of 1,619 stocks traded so far, 906 have declined, 675 have advanced and 38 are unchanged.
