Sensex down 194pts; BHEL, Tata St slip 3%

The Sensex is now down 194 points at 10,725.

ICICI Bank has shed 4.5% to Rs 484. Satyam has slipped nearly 4% to Rs 705.

BHEL and Tata Steel have dropped over 3% each to Rs 1,910 and Rs 545, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Dr.Reddy's, Reliance Energy and TCS have declined 2.7% each to Rs 2,205, Rs 1,338, Rs 466 and Rs 1,799, respectively.

Hindalco and Reliance are down 2% each at Rs 175 and Rs 1,075, respectively.

Out of 2,356 stocks traded so far, 1,409 have declined, 865 have advanced and 82 are unchanged.
