Sensex down 197pts; Cipla plunges 8%

The Sensex continues to exhibit volatile movement. The index is now down 197 points at 11,159.

Dr.Reddy's has added 1.7% to Rs 1,450. TCS has gained 1.6% at Rs 1,811, and Reliance is up 1% at Rs 837.

Cipla has plunged over 8% to Rs 631. Bajaj Auto has slumped 4.6% to Rs 2,652. NTPC and Grasim have dropped nearly 4% each to Rs 131 and Rs 2,092, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, ACC and Tata Steel have declined 3.5% each to Rs 2,468, Rs 880 and Rs 540, respectively.

BHEL and SBI are down 3% each at Rs 2,285 and Rs 909, respectively.
