Sensex down 19pts, bank, auto scrips decline

The Sensex has dropped 19 points to 9,223.

Hero Honda is now down 1.9% (Rs 16) at Rs 841. Bajaj is down Rs 32 at Rs 2,087. Tata Motors is down Rs 6 at Rs 610, and Maruti has dropped Rs 7 to Rs 652.

SBI has slipped 1.9% (Rs 16) to Rs 912. Reliance is now down Rs 9 at Rs 851.

Dr. Reddy's has dropped 1.5% (Rs 14) to Rs 935.

Satyam is still up over 4% (Rs 28) at Rs 710. Infosys is still up Rs 29 at Rs 2,915.

L&T is still up Rs 22 at Rs 1,749. Tata Power, Hindalco, Reliance Energy, Cipla and HLL are also trading with gains.

Bank scrips have declined in noon deals. BoI is down over 4% at Rs 121. UTI Bank, PNB, IOB, Federal, Canara and Allahabad Bank are also trading with losses.
