The Sensex continues to move in a range of 20-30 points loss as bearish trend is still seen in heavyweights, auto and other old economy counters. The Sensex is now down 20 points at 6,461. ITC has declined 1.32% (Rs 20) to Rs 1,464. While ONGC is subdued at Rs 869 (down Rs 3), Reliance is still down a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 550. Infosys has extended its losses by 1.24% (Rs 26) to Rs 2,071. Wipro is down Rs 2 at Rs 644. Satyam, however, has trimmed its gains to Rs 430 - up Rs 5. Tata Motors has lost 1.77% (Rs 8) to Rs 430. Hero Honda and Maruti are still trading a per cent weaker each at Rs 545 (down Rs 5) and Rs 436 (down Rs 4), respectively. Dr. Reddy's continues to trade lower at Rs 662 (down Rs 18 or 2.60%), while Cipla is still down a rupee at Rs 274. BHEL has declined 1.11% (Rs 9) to Rs 830, while L&T has lost a per cent (Rs 8) to Rs 1,015. Zee is down 1.53% (Rs 2) at Rs 152. Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 1.76% (Rs 8) to Rs 443. While ACC has gained 1.72% (Rs 6) to Rs 385, Grasim is up Rs 2 at Rs 1,151. Tata Power has advanced 2.78% (Rs 10) to Rs 371, and Reliance Energy has added 1.68% (Rs 8) to Rs 504. |
