Sensex down 201pts; Wipro, Infosys slip 3%

The Sensex is now down 201 points at 13,659.

Satyam and Maruti have tumbled over 3.5% each to Rs 484 and Rs 901, respectively.

Wipro, Infosys and Hindalco have shed 3% each to Rs 581, Rs 2,207 and Rs 166, respectively. TCS has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,230.

Bajaj Auto, Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel are down over 2% each to Rs 2,720, Rs 437, Rs 1,032 and Rs 624, respectively.

ONGC has gained 1.6% at Rs 910. Ranbaxy has spurted over 1% to Rs 418.

Out of 2,688 stocks traded so far, 1,733 have advanced, 915 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
