Sensex down 206pts; TCS tumbles 5%

The Sensex is now down 206 points at 12,919.

TCS has plunged nearly 5% to Rs 1,200. Wipro and Satyam have tumbled 4% each to Rs 563 and Rs 453, respectively.

HDFC has dropped over 3% Rs 1,525. Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel have shed 2.7% each to Rs 733 and Rs 755, respectively.

Infosys and Maruti have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 2,007 and Rs 799, respectively. Hero Honda has declined 2.3% to Rs 653.

Ranbaxy, BHEL and Dr.Reddy's have surged over 2.5% each to Rs 337, Rs 2,312 and Rs 699, respectively.

Out of 2,464 stocks traded so far, 1,733 have declined, 662 have advanced and 69 are unchanged.
