Sensex down 209pts; Tata Mot, Hindalco slip 4%

The Sensex is now down 209 points at 10,650.

Tata Motors and Hindalco have dropped nearly 4% each to Rs 741 and Rs 176, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Maruti have slipped over 3% each to Rs 260 and Rs 788, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, Wipro, Bajaj Auto, Ranbaxy, Grasim and Satyam are the other prominent losers.

Out of 1,742 stocks traded so far, 1,154 have declined, 520 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
