Sensex down 20pts at 12,442

The Sensex has recovered most of its losses, and is now down 20 points at 12,442.

Satyam has moved up 1.6% to Rs 795. Bajaj Auto and Reliance Energy have gained 1.4% each at Rs 3,170 and Rs 632, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja and ONGC are up over 1% each at Rs 121 and Rs 1,392, respectively.

ONGC tops the value chart with a turnover of Rs 243.05 crore followed by Reliance (Rs 156.63 crore), Satyam (Rs 65.82 crore), Century Textiles (Rs 64.99 crore) and Tata Steel (Rs 54.04 crore).

Debutant Kamdhenu Ispat leads the volume chart with trades of around 1.16 crore shares followed by IFCI (63.76 lakh), Jhagad (49.48 lakh), BSEL Infrastructure (49.33 lakh) and Mascon Global (35.44 lakh).
