Sensex down 20pts; breadth marginally -ve

The Sensex is now down 20 points at 19,039.

ICICI Bank has soared 4.4% to Rs 1,145. Reliance Energy has surged 3.3% to Rs 1,909.

NTPC has rallied 2.3% to Rs 232. Reliance Communications and Satyam have gained 2% each at Rs 768 and Rs 451, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has plunged nearly 3% to Rs 213.

Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra and Larsen & Toubro have dropped 2.3% each to Rs 1,883, Rs 815 and Rs 3,336, respectively.

Hindalco has shed 2% to Rs 185. Bajaj Auto, ONGC and Grasim have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 2,540, Rs 1,174 and Rs 3,758, respectively.

ITC and Maruti are down 1% each at Rs 185 and Rs 1,149, respectively.

The market breadth is marginally negative - out of 2,691 stocks traded so far, 1,384 have declined, 1,246 have advanced and 61 are unchanged.
