Sensex down 20pts; HDFC, Cipla weak

The Sensex is now down 20 points at 11,482.

HDFC has dropped 1.7% to Rs 1,295. Cipla has shed 1.5% to Rs 248, and Bajaj Auto is down 1.3% to Rs 2,716.

SBI, Larsen & Toubro and ITC are the other notable losers.

NTPC and Reliance Energy are up 1% each at Rs 124 and Rs 465, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, Tata Motors and Reliance are the other notable gainers.

Out of 2,386 stocks traded so far, 1,223 have declined, 1,082 have advanced and 81 are unchanged.
