Sensex down 213pts

The Sensex is now down 213 points at 10,645.

Reliance Communications and Hindalco have dropped over 4% each to Rs 257 and Rs 175, respectively. Tata Motors and Satyam have slipped 3.5% each to Rs 742 and Rs 720, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Grasim, Wipro and Dr.Reddy's have slipped over 3% each to Rs 723, Rs 1,978, Rs 488 and Rs 1,296, respectively.

Out of 2,291 stocks traded so far, 1,537 have declined, 694 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
