Sensex down 213pts; ONGC up 2.5%

The Sensex is now down 213 points at 13,648.

Infosys, Maruti and Satyam have slipped nearly 3% each to Rs 2,209, Rs 909 and Rs 488, respectively.

Tata Motors, Wipro and TCS have shed around 2.5% each to Rs 909, Rs 584 and Rs 1,232, respectively.

HLL and Bajaj Auto have dropped 2% each to Rs 208 and Rs 2,730, respectively.

Hindalco, ACC, HLL, Bharti Airtel, ACC, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC, SBI, HDFC Bank, NTPC, BHEL and Hero Honda are down 1-2% each.

ONGC has gained 2.4% at Rs 917.

Out of 2,508 stocks traded so far, 1,473 have advanced, 990 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
