Sensex down 219pts; Bharti plunges 4%

The Sensex is now down 219 points at 19,812.

Bharti Airtel has plunged over 4% to Rs 914. Tata Motors has tumbled 3.3% to Rs 720.

ONGC has shed 3% at Rs 1,203. HDFC Bank and TCS have dropped 2.8% each to Rs 1,680 and Rs 1,015, respectively.

NTPC and Hindalco have slipped 2.5% each to Rs 240 and Rs 207, respectively.

SBI has declined 2.3% to Rs 2,355, and BHEL is down 2% at Rs 2,510.

Cipla has gained 1.8% at Rs 213. Larsen & Toubro and ACC have moved up 1.4% each to Rs 4,235 and Rs 1,118, respectively.

ITC and Satyam are up 1% each at Rs 203 and Rs 416, respectively.
