Sensex down 22pts; Bajaj, ITC drag

The Sensex has tumbled into the negative zone and is now down 22 points at 12,702.

Bajaj Auto and ITC have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 2,743 and Rs 188, respectively.

Wipro has gained 1.5% at Rs 558. Reliance Energy, Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel have spurted over 1% each to Rs 458, Rs 497 and Rs 507, respectively.

Reliance, BHEL and Hindalco are the other notable gainers.

Out of 2,471 stocks traded so far, 1,328 have advanced, 1,058 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
