Sensex down 22pts; BHEL, Tata Motors drops

The Sensex is now down 22 points at 11,702.

Cipla has gained 1.5% at Rs 252. Grasim, Infosys and Hindalco are the other notable gainers among the index stocks.

Reliance Communications has slipped 1.7% to Rs 300. Tata Motors and BHEL have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 841 and Rs 2,250, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja has slipped over 1% to Rs 113. Satyam, Maruti, Tata Steel, Wipro and HDFC are the other prominent losers.

Out of 2,420 stocks traded so far, 1,471 have declined, 884 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
