Sensex down 238pts; ICICI Bank down 4%

The Sensex is now down 238 points at 20,490.

Bharti Airtel has slumped 5.7% to Rs 856. ICICI Bank has plunged 3.8% to Rs 1,355.

Ambuja Cements, ITC and Mahindra & Mahindra have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 136, Rs 221 and Rs 743, respectively.

TCS has dropped 1.5% to Rs 946. Larsen & Toubro, Hindalco and Wipro are down over 1% each at Rs 4,115, Rs 200 and Rs 456, respectively.

Maruti has rallied over 2% to Rs 874.

Tata Steel has surged nearly 2% to Rs 854, and Tata Motors has advanced over 1% to Rs 774.

Out of 2,829 stocks traded so far, 1,395 have declined, 1,390 have advanced and 44 are unchanged.
