Sensex down 239pts; breadth stays -ve

The Sensex has bounced over 100pts in closing deals, and is now down only 239 points at 14,861.

Bharti and HDFC continue to be down over 3% at Rs 837 and Rs 1,948, respectively.

Hindalco and RCom are also down over 3% at Rs 151 and Rs 521, respectively.

Reliance has dropped 2.3% to Rs 1,799. SBI, HUL and HDFC Bank are also down over 2% each.

Breadth continues to be negative - out of 2,633 scrips traded, 1,658 have declined and 918 have logged gains.
