Sensex down 23pts

The Sensex is still down 23 points at 8,199.

HLL has gained Rs 4 to Rs 168. ITC is up a rupee at Rs 138. ONGC has declined Rs 6 to Rs 990, and Reliance is down Rs 5 at Rs 750.

Infosys is down Rs 23 at Rs 2,390. Satyam has slipped Rs 7 to Rs 521, but TCS has advanced Rs 11 to Rs 1,414.

HDFC Bank is still down 3% (Rs 21) at Rs 675. ICICI Bank is down Rs 14 at Rs 559.

Maruti is up Rs 9 at Rs 553. Tata Motors has added Rs 8 to Rs 508.

ACC is up Rs 7 at Rs 464. Gujarat Ambuja and Grasim are also trading with gains.

Apollo Hospitals has zoomed 12% (Rs 53) to Rs 490. Reliance Capital has moved up 6% (Rs 22) to Rs 394.

Out of 2,462 scrips traded till now, 1,817 have declined, 623 have moved up and 22 are unchanged.
